Hawaiian or beach-themed parties are popular at any time of year – whether in the dead of winter, the middle of summer, or anytime in between. Many people love to throw beach themed parties because, while they’re fairly easy to arrange, they set an atmosphere that guests truly enjoy: one of warmth, sunshine, and the beach.

Every successful beach-themed party starts with great beach decorations. Make your venue look like a tropical paradise with props of all kinds – ranging from beach towels and beach balls to seashells and umbrellas. You can even cut out palm trees and sails from large pieces of cardboard to add to the atmosphere. If you really want to go all out – and if you have the appropriate space for it (for example, a basement with plain cement flooring) you can empty bags of play sand to make a beach.
